Letzter Beitrag der vorhergehenden Seite:

Bei Yesworld war in den letzten Monaten nicht wirklich viel los.
Ob es an Mike lag können wir nicht beurteilen. Aber Yesworld
ist ja das erste Aushängeschild der Band und wenn es da lahm wird (war),
dann kann das für die Band nicht gut sein.

Es gehört da mal richtig Dampf unter den Kessel, zumal das neue Album in ein
paar Wochen auf den Markt kommt. Yesworld hat ja kaum noch eigene Interviews
der Musiker gebracht. Manchmal kam es mir so vor wie unsere dezeitige Regierung.
---> Bloß den Leuten nicht zu früh erzählen was da kommt.
Dabei muss man das neue Album gerade jetzt richtig anheizen. Vorab sollte man
schon mal einen Kracher veröffentlichen und auch schon live zu den Konzerten in den
Staaten bringen.

Mike Tiano hat sich heute bei den YESFans dazu geäußert - und so wie es aussieht, ging es nicht um die YESWORLD-Seite, sondern um seine Person. Dass das alles ohne Begründung per Email über den Rechtsanwalt ablief, scheint typisch YES zu sein:

To get this out of the way, I still don't know why I was shown the door, and it was only me--not the other YW guys, who are still manning the ship. I was given the news in email by the bands’ attorney with band and management on the distribution. No conversations leading up to this, no indication that they were unhappy with anything I was doing. At first I thought the reason behind this was so they could hire a web firm to create a great site, ala Rush, and if so I was all for that. But when I learned that the other YW staff were asked to stay on and keep the status quo I quickly realized that this wasn’t about the site—it was about me. It was personal, rather than professional.

Mike schreibt auch weiter, dass ihm praktisch kein Budget zur Verfügung stand - und dass die Band, nachdem die Alumnis von der Startseite verschwunden waren, auch Tianos Link auf sein NFTE Facebook nicht mochten. Ein sehr interessanter Beitrag aus seiner Sicht...

Ich sag mal so: Da hat Mike eben "at the very beginning" zu sehr an das Gute im Menschen geglaubt und zu wenig auf seine RECHTE geachtet. Jetzt kann er nur noch sagen: Dumm gelaufen.
